Before our first meeting
To prepare for your first meeting with the notary, we invite you to consult the “Will” and “Mandate of Protection” forms, which can be found in the “Forms” section of our website.
These forms will help you prepare for the notary’s questions and give you an overview of the topics covered.
At your first appointment
During this first testamentary interview, the notary will take the time to get to know your family, your marriage and your employment.
He or she will ask questions about your estate and your wishes regarding your will and/or mandate for protection in case of incapacity.
At the last appointment
Afterwards, a second meeting will be organized to read the legal explanation and sign the deeds.
Finally, the notary will register your documents with the Chambre des notaires du Québec and provide you with copies of the signed documents.
